ADisconnect high tension lead wire from ignition coil by pulling boot away from co ilthen pulling lead wire from coilFigure 13 2Remove bracket with housing as follows :
ADisconnect white black striped lead and blue lead from stud terminals on distributor housing
Mark or tag wires so they can be installed correctly BRemove spark plug lead wires from spark plugs CLoosen two (2) screws on distributor cap retaining clips Figure 30 DPull distributor cap assembly off housing
BDisconnect ground lead and lead to coil at bracket CRemove two (2) bolts securing bracket to power head DSlip distributor belt off pulley and remove bracket with housing
