TESTING NOTE Conduct test on the motor in test tank or on boat in water
2Test upper pump by moving fuel feed line from bottom to top pump; removinjt outlet line from top pump and installing gauge Figure 3
CAUTION
Before testingloosen fuel tank vent on cap to release any pressure that may have built up

1Remove hose connecting carburetors to fuel pumpFigure 22Connect fuel pressure gauge between the carburetors and fuel pump
Fuel tank should not be more than 24 inches (61 cm) below fuel pump 3Start motor and observe the gaugePump pressure should read as outlined in Table 1
R.P.M600 PSI (7kPa) 2500-3000 1.5 PSI (10kPa) 4500 2.5 PSI (17kPa)
