STEERING 12-21 Reverse System
Unscrew the steering cover bolts (see Steering Removal) RemoveShift Lever Holder Bolts [A] Washer (JT1500B7F: US-KAW33009B707 JT1500B8FE9FIF9FModels) [B] Collars [C] Shift Lever Holder [0] Shift Lever Bracket [E] Shift Lever Shaft [F] OLift up the steering cover [G] (see Steering Removal)
Assemble the shift lever holder, noting the followingOApply non permanent locking agent (Hight Strength: Loctite 271 equivalent) to the shift lever holder boltsOAlign the slot [A] on the shift lever shaft with the projection [B] on the shift leverOBefore connecting the shift cableapply water resistant grease to its joint ball
