11-6 PUMP AND IMPELLER Pump and Impeller
Pump Removal
Turn the craft on its left side Disconnect the reverse cable ball joint at the rear end Unscrew the pump cover mounting bolts [A], and remove the pump cover [8] with the reverse bracket [C] Unscrew the grate mounting bolts [0] and remove the grate [E]
OCut the sealant at the indicated area [FJ in the figureo For the JT1500E9FF9Fmodels, it is not necessary to cut the sealant around the pump cover Remove the jOint bolts [A] and take off the steering cable joint Loosen the clamps [8] on the inlet cooling hose, and pull off the hoses [C]
