Drive Shaft RemovalInstallation
Remove the engine (see Engine Removal in the Engine RemovalInstallation chapter) Pull the drive shaft [A] out of the hull
Hold the drive shaft in viceand unscrew the couplingSpecial ToolCoupling Holder: 57001-1423 [A]
When installing the drive shaft, be careful of the following itemsOApply non-permanent locking agent to the coupling threads and tighten itTorqueCoupling: 39 Nm (4.0 kgf.m, 29 ftlb) (JT150087F88F) Coupling: 265 Nm (27 kgfm195 ftlb) (JT1500E9FIF9F)
