Stator Removal
Remove: Engine (see Engine Removal in the Engine RemovalInstallation chapter) Magneto Cover (see CouplingOutput Shaft Removal) Grommet Cover Mounting Bolts [A] Grommet Cover [B] Stator Mounting Bolts [C] with Washers Stator Assembly [0]
Stator Installation
Apply water resistant grease to the outside of the grommet Apply non-permanent locking agent to the grommet cover bolts Tighten:
TorqueGrommet Cover Bolts: 9.8 Nm (1.0 kgfm, 87 inlb)
