Apply grease to the boss outside [A] of the magneto flywheel [8]10 mm (0.39 in [C] Install the magneto flywheel
o Confirm the magneto flywheel fit or not to the crankshaft
before tightening it with specified torqueOlnstall the output shaft and tighten it with 70 Nm (7 .0 kgfm52 ftlb) of torque ORemove the output shaftOCheck the tightening torque with rotor pullerSpecial Tool- Rotor Puller: 57001-1623 Grip: 57001-1591

If the magneto flywheel is not pulled out with 20 Nm (2.0 kgfm, 52 ftlb) of drawing torqueit is installed correctlyIf the magneto flywheel is pulled out with under 20 Nm (2 .0 kgfm52 ftlb) of drawing torqueclean off any oil dirt or flaw of the crankshaft and magneto flywheel tapered portion, and dry them with clean cloth Thenconfirm that it is not pulled out with above torque Tighten the output shaft while holding the magneto flywheel steady with the rotor holderSpecial Tool- Rotor Holder: 57001-1544 TorqueOutput Shaft: 245 Nm (25.0 kgfm, 180 ftlb) (JT150087F88FE9F Early ModelF9F Early Model) Output Shaft: 265 Nm (27.0 kgfm, 195 ft.lb) (JT1500E9F Late ModelIF9F Late Model)
