OTo connect the couplingsprotect the deck with cloth [A] and push the engine backward by an appropriate bar [B] (e .ga piece of wood)O lf the adjusting shim has been installed on the engine mount, adjust the positions of holes
OTighten the engine mounting bolts under the supercharger using the torque wrench adapter (e.g Motion Pro PN 08-0134)TorqueEngine Mounting Bolts: 36 Nm (3.7 kgfm, 27 ft.lb)
tightening torque of the engine mounting bolts is specified to 36 (3.7 kgfm, 27 fUb)however, when you use the torque wrench adapter [A], reduce the torque to about 86 of the specified value [31 (3.2 kgfm, 23 ftlb)] due to the distance [B] between the center of the square hole, where the torque wrench is fitted, and that of the octagonal hole of the wrenchO This torque value [31 N-m (3.2 kgfm, 23 ftlb)} is applicable when you use torque wrench whose length gives leverage of approximately 450 mm (177 in between the grip point to the center of the coupling squareo To obtain the correct tightening torque with your torque wrench, you need to calculate as follows Formula:(bc)[a} Specified torque [b} Length from center of square hole to grip point [c] Offset70 mm, distance between center of square hole and center of octagonal hole [d] Tightening torque For example: 36 Nm 450(45070)31 Nm Replace the exhaust pipe gasket with new one
