RemoveSeat (see Seat Removal in the HullEngine Hood chapter) Front Access Cover (see Front Access Cover RemovalInstallation in the HullEngine Hood chapter) ECU Lead Connector Mounting Bolts [A] ECU [B]

ECU Installation
Connect the ECU connector and install it Apply non-permanent locking agent to the bolts and tighten them TorqueECU Mounting Bolts: 3.0 Nm (0.30 kgfm, 27 inlb)
ECU Power Supply Inspection
Visually inspect the terminals [A] of the ECU connectorsIf the connector is clogged with mud or dust, blow it off with compressed air Replace the main harness if the terminals of the main harness connector is crackedbent, or otherwise damagedReplace the ECU if the terminals of the ECU connector is crackedbentor otherwise damaged
