Adjust the throttle sensor positioning as followsOlnstall the air filter temporarilyOAfter warming up the enginecheck the idling speedIdle Speed Standard: 300 :t:100 rmin (rpm)
OStop the engine and turn the ignition switch OFFODisconnect the throttle sensor connector and connect the throttle sensor setting adapter [A] between the harness connector and throttle sensor connectorOConnect digital meter to the sensor setting adapter leadsSpecial ToolThrottle Sensor Setting Adapter: -1521 Throttle Sensor Output Voltage Connections to Sensor Meter (+)- GIW lead Meter (-) BKIW lead 57001
OStart the engine with idle speed OTurn [A] the throttle sensor and bring the sensor output voltage within the standard rangeOutput Voltage at Sensor Standard: 1.081.18 DC (at idle throttle opening)
