Apply Corrosion Protection Coating to the Supercharger Rotors
Remove seat (see Seat Removal in the HullEngine Hood chapter) Disconnect the intercooler flushing hose [A] and oil separator tank hose [8] and move them aside Disconnect the cooling hose [C] (Exhaust ManifoldIntercooler) and move it aside Remove the supercharger-to-intercooler tube [0] Disconnect both two connection on the ignition coil primary lead connectors [A]
Spray [A] fogging oil [8] into the top of supercharger for seconds while holding spray tube in parallel with the supercharger outlet [C]
Momentarily press the start button to "bump" engine and reposition supercharger rotors slightly Repeat fogging and "bump" steps for total of cyclesThis will ensure that supercharger is adequately coated internally Install the supercharger-to-intercooler tube Connect the cooling hose (exhaust manifoldintercooler) Connect the oil separator tank hose and intercooler flushing hose Reconnect the primary ignition coil lead connectorsnoting the1,#4 [A] and the #2, #3 [8] coil connectors The #1, #4 coil connector has redyellow and greenblue leads from the main harnessThe #2, #3 coil connector has redyellow and greenblack leads from the main harness
