Disconnect the shift cable from the fitting at the rear of the hullUnscrew the shift cable nut in the hull with wrenchThe special tool of box wrench [A] is useful to remove the shift cable nutSpecial ToolBox Wrench (27 mm): 57001-1451
Slide off the snap ring [A], washer [B], and O-ring [C]Shift cable nut [D]
