Fuel Vent Check Valve Inspection
Remove the check valve and blow through it from each endIf the check valve will allow air to flow as shown, it is OKIf air will flow through the check valve in both direction or in neither direction, the check valve must be replaced
Flame Arrester Cleaning
Remove the flame arresters [A] (see Fuel System chapter) Blow the flame arrester clean with compressed airWARNING
Eye protection should be worn when compressed air is used to dry portsDo not direct air toward anyoneUse 172 kPa (1.75 kgfcm, 25 psi) maximum nozzle pressure
