Starter Motor Installation
Clean the starter motor lugs [A] and crankcase [B] where the starter motor is groundedApply small amount of engine oil to the O-ring Apply non-permanent locking agent to the starter motor mounting bolt and the battery ground cable mounting boltConnect the battery ground cableTighten:
Torque Starter Motor Mounting Bolts: 8.8 N-m0.9 kgf-m, 78 in-lb) Battery Ground Cable Mounting Bolt: 8.8 N-m(0.9 kgf-m, 78 in-lb)
