Fuel Tank Cleaning
Remove the fuel tank (see Fuel Tank Removal)Drain the tank into suitable containerGasoline is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditionsPull the lanyard key off the stop buttonDo not smokeMake sure the area is well ventilated and free from any source of flame or sparks; this includes any appliance with pilot lightFlush the tank repeatedly with high flash-point solvent until it is cleanIt may be necessary to put few marbles or pieces of clean gravel into the tank and shake it, to knock loose any foreicm matter in the bottomClean the tank in well-ventilated area, and take ample care that there are no sparks or flame anywhere near the working area; this includes any appliance with pilot lightDo not use gasoline or low flash-point solvent to clean the tankA fire or explosion could result
