Throttle Cable Adjustment
Remove the engine hood (see HullIEngine Hood chapter)Check throttle cable adjustment0 With the throttle lever released [A], the lower stop on the shaft lever [B] should rest against the idle adjust screw [C], and there should be slight slack in the throttle cableowhen the throttle lever is fully applied (pulled) [Dl, the upper stop on the shaft lever [B] should be all the way up against the stop on the carburetorIf necessary, adjust the throttle cableLoosen and turn the locknuts [A] at the bracket until the stop on the shaft lever hits against the idle adjust screw with slight cable slackTighten the locknuts securelyTorque -Throttle Cable Adjustment Nuts: 20 N-m (2.0 kgf-m, 25 ft-lb)
