Igniter Inspection
The igniter is built in the EMM
CAUTION
Do not disconnect the battery leads or any other electrical connections when the ignition switch is on, or while the engine is runningThis is to prevent igniter in the EMM damageIgnition Coil Primary Peak Voltage Check:
Be sure the battery is fully chargedall plug the spark Pullfullythe spark sparkcaps fromholder [B]plugs and push the caps [A] onto the plug cap
Maintain the correct value of compression pressure for the cylinderBe sure to measure the voltage with the spark plug installed to the cylinder head)a commercially available peak voltage adapter [A] into the hand Install [B]tester And the Disconnect the ignition coil primary lead connector.wires [C]connector is reconnected mutually by using four auxiliary between the primary lead terminal Connect the adapterlead (ground)ignition coilthe primary lead left [D] and the black [E] with connectedRecommended Tool: Peak Voltage Adapter Type: KEK-54-9-B Brand: KOWA SEIKI Special Tool Hand Tester: 57001-1394 DC 250 V
