Lubrication
Carry out all recommended lubrication procedures (see Lubrication in the Periodic Maintenance chapter)General Inspection
or sticking Check for bindingThe throttlethrottle, choke, or steering or trim mechanismlever must return fully when releasedClean and gap spark plugs (see Spark Plug Cleaning and Spark Plug Adjustment in the Periodic Maintenance chapter)Check all rubber hoses for weathering cracking, or loosenessCheck that the drain screw in the stern is securely tightenedCheck the fire extinguisher for full chargeCheck the battery, charge if necessary, and clean the terminalsInstall the battery (see Battery Installation in the Electrical System chapter)
