RemovalInstallation Notes
Before removing the reduction gear, remove the magneto flywheel
(see Engine Bottom End chapter) When inlstalling the reduction gear, apply molybdenum disulfide
grease [A] to both ends of its shaft
Inspection
Rotate the pinion gear [A] counterclockwiseThe gear must be rotate
freely [B]
