Start the engine to check for fuel and oil leaks, exhaust leaks, and
excessive vibration
Do not run the engine in closed areaExhaust gases contain carbon manoxidle, colorless, odorless, poisonous gas which can be lethal

Do not run the engine for more than 15 seconds without cooling water

1Thoroughly warm up the engine, while checking that there is no
compression leakage from around the spark plugs or the cylinder head gasket
