3-6ENGINE LUBRICATION SYSTEM Oil Pumo
Plug the ends of the oil pump outlet hoses
a Reserve suitable transparent hoses and connect them with the oil
pump outlets Inject oil into the transparent hoses
Run each hose into measuring glass
a Reinstall the cable holderIf necessary, adljust control cables
For this test use 50:1 mixture of gasoline to oil instead the gasoline normally used
Supply the cooling system with water (see Auxiliary Cooling in the
General Information chapter) Hold the oil pump pulley fully opend Start the engine, and run it at steady 3,000 rpm Collect the oil that being pumped for minutesIf the quantity of oil s
