EMM Power Supply Inspection
Visually inspect the terminals [A] of the EMM connectors
If the connector is clogged with mud or dust, blow it off with compressed airReplac the main harness if the terminals of the main harness connectors are cracked, bent, or otherwise damaged Replace the EMMIif the terminals of the EMM connectors are cracked, bent, or otherwise damaged
m Witlh the EMM connectors connected, checkthe folllowingground
leads for continuity with the ignition switch OFF, using the hand tester (see EMM Power Source Circuit)EMM Groundling Inspection 27 DIIGITAL GND (BK) Terminal flatte (-) Terminal: $2 Engine Ground Terminal +-Battery (-1 Terminal: ft
If no continuity, check the connector, the engine ground lead, or main
harness, and repair or replace them if necessarySpecial ToolHand Tester: 57001-11394
Before inspecting the EMM power supply valtage, perform the
following procedure.Supply battery voltage to the EMM empoloying two methods indicated afterward (You can employ whichever ones) Supply battery voltage employing jurnping lead0 Disconnect the KADIAG male connector [A]0 Connectthe RW terminal with the RBL terminal of the female connector employing auxiliary wire [B]
