A temperature sensor is installed on the bypass hose Whenever the or cooling water temperature rises to 95T (203F) higher, the contacts in the temperature sensor does and the igniter works to cut spark intermittently The engine speed decreases to 3,500 rpmIf the watercraft slows down even with the throttle on and the engine running, return to shore immediately and check the cooling system for clogging
