Separat the cable [A] from the cable holder
Remov the pump (see Pump Removal in the PurnpJIrnpeller chapter) Disconnec the steering cable from the fitting at the rear of the hull Unscrew the large nut [A] while holding thefitting [B] in the hull with wrench
OSIide off the E-nng [A], washer [B], and 0-nng [C]Pulthe cable from the cable detent in the engine compartmentPulout the steering cable toward the front
