ENGINE BOTTOM END 7-11 Water Drain Valve (JH750C)
Removal
Remove Exhaust Pipe (see Exhaust System chapter) Expansion Chamber (see Exhaust System chapter) Exhaust Manifold (see Exhaust System chapter) Starter Motor (see Electrical System chapter) Remov the mounting bolt [A], and take out the water drain valve
Remov the valve cap and then remove the E-ring to disassemble the control valve Reed Valve Assembly [A] Gasket] Reed Valve Cover] Cover Bolt [Dl Valve Cap [El Control Valve [F] E-Ring [GI Spring [HI Control Valve Housing [I] Mounting Bolt [J]
Installation
Visuall inspect the reed valves for cracks, folds, or other damage If there is any doubt as to the condition of reed, replace the reed valve assembly Appl non-permanent locking agent to the cover bolt threads
