SPECIAL WORDS ALL Models All of the impellers covered in this manual have right-hand threads both mixed flow jet pumps and axial flow jet pumpsThe manufacturer incorporated this into all models after 1991SPECIAL WORDS 550 SERIES ONLY These mixed flow pumps have pieces of shim material between the impeller and the oil in the guide vane castingSAVE the shim for later installationThe thickness of shim is critical properly position the impeller with specif from the pump caseIf the clearance was no is required and the original thickness of shim may installedIf the was excessive, the thickness of shim material will need increasedRemove the impeller from the impeller shaftPull the impeller from the guide vane castingIf is available, remove and discard the small 0ring at the threaded end of the shaft
