ALWAYS TAKE TIME TO VE BILGE WHEN CONDUCTING ANY OF THE TESTS AS PREVENTION AGAINST IGNIT ANY FUMES ACCUMULATED IN THAT AREAFaulty Symptoms If the cranking motor spins, but fails to crank the engine, the cause is usually con-oded or gummy Bendix drive The drive should be removed, cleaned, and inspected for signs of corrosion or wearIf the cranking motor cranks the engine too slowly, the following conditions are possible causes, with corrective actions that may be taken:
