Installation Notes
Be sure there are no foreign objects and parts inside of the hull Clean the bilge filter (see Filter Cleaning and Inspection in the Cooling and BUge Systems chapter) Check the coupling damper for wear and damage (see Coupling Damper I,nspectionin the Engine Bottom End chapter) Install the engine bed so that the small notches [AJ are on the magneto end of the engine as shown
Apply non-permanent locking agent to the following mounting bolts,and torque themTorqueEngine Mounting BolE 36 'N-m (3.7 kg-m,27 ft-Ib) Engine Bed Mounting Bofts: 36 IN-m (3.7 kg-m, 27 ft-Ib)
.Check the gap between the engi!ne bed and the dampers by rock,ing the engineelf there isa gap, insert suitable shim between the engine bed and the damper to achieve good fit
