eBe sure there are no foreign objects and parts inside of the hulleClean the bilge filter (see Filter Cleaning and Inspection in the Coolingand Bilge Systems chapter)eCheck the coupling damper for wear and damage (see Coupling Damper Inspection in the Engine Bottom End chapter)elnstall the engine bed so that the small notches [A] are on the magneto end of the engine as shown
elnstall the engine in the hull, aligning the on the cylinder head [A] and magneto cover [B] with the arrow [C] in the bottom of the hull
eApply non-permanent locking agent to the following mounting bolts,and torque themTorqueEngille Mounting Bolls: 38 N-m (3.7 kg 271t-lb) Engine Bed Mounting Bolls: 22N-rn (2.2 kg-m,16.0 It-Ib)
