Carburetor Cleaning and Inspection
Disassemble the carburetor (see Carburetor Disassembly)AWARNING Solvent is toxic and flammableAvoid prolonged canlacl will skin and keep away from open flameUse on In well ventilated area Eye protecIIon should be worn when compressed air 10 dry parISDo not direct air towards anyoneUse 172 kPa (1.75 kgcm 2, 25 psi) maximum nozzle pressure
Immerse all the metal parts ina carburetor cleaning solution Rinse the parts in waterWhen the parts are clean, dry them with compressed airBlowout the air and fuel passages with compressed air Inspect the check valve [Al for damage or deterioration, and replace it if necessary
If the gasket [B] under the check valve appearsdamaged, it may leak and must be replaced
