-Carefully pull the startstop switch wiring up through the cable boot-Unscrew the choke lever pivot screw and remove the choke lever from the switch caseATop Dead Center Finder: 57001-402
-Position the piston at top dead center-T l rn the flywheel clockwise until the dial gauge reads the value shown in the tablePiston Position at Timing Mark
Distance from TDe: 2.0 mm -Reinstall the magneto cover and remove the magneto breather plug-The timing mark on the flywheel should al.ign with the notch on the magneto cover at this pointIf it does not, set the piston at the speciJied positiol1 BTDC (before top bead center) and make new timing mark on the flywheeljust under the 110tch-Check the ignition timingNOTE
