ELECTRICAL SYSTEM 13-19 -Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the CDI igniterOThe test light limits the current flow through the regulatorrectifierDo not use an ammeter or multimeter in its place
If the test light turns on, the regulatorrectifier is defectiveReplace itIf the test light does not turn on, continue the test-Momentarily apply 24 to the voltage monitoring lead by adding 12 battery-Check the black lead and each yellow lead
not apply more than 24 to the regulatorrectifier and do not Ileave the 24 applied for more than few seconds, or the unit will be damaged

-When installing the COl igniter, ground the blackl yellow lead to the front mounting bolt
