86 COOLING .ANID BI LGE SYSTEMS eConnect the bilge filter hose to the garden hose adapter, turn the water on, and flush it out for about minuteDuring this procedure, water will flow into the engine compartmentDo not allow large amount of water to accumulate in the engine compartmentEmpty the water out of the engine compartment with pump or siphon-Connect the other hose (from the huH bulkhead) to the garden hose adapter, turn the water on, and flush it out for several minutes-Before reconnecting the hoses to the plastic breather fitting, make sure the small breather hole on top of the fitting is dearIf the hole is clogged, the engine compartment will fill with water when the engine stops or idlesIt may be necessary to remove the fitting
