Hose Removal eNone of the bilge system hoses has clamp except the hose to the filterTo remove this hose, remove the filter (see Bilge System Filter RemovalThe bilge system hoses without clamps may be simplypulled off their fittingseAIi the- cooling system hoses are clamped at both endsLoosen the clamps and pull the hoses off
CooUng and Bilge System Flushing CooUng, System Flushing:
To prev,ent sand and salt deposits from accumulating in the cooling system, it must be flushed occasionallyFlush the system according to the Periodic Maintenance Chart or whenever there islitt.le water flow from the bypass outlet on the left side of the hullObtain the following items Standard garden hose Garden hose adapter Two 3" lengths of 3S" rubber hose 3S" plastic "Tee" adapter

Hose Installation eTa install the bilge filter hose, push the hose over the end of the filterInstall the clamp with the drive shaft holder mounting bolteWhen installing the cooling system hoses, be sUire to use the same kind of clamp as the originalSome of the clamps are metal for tighter clamping abiUty (required when smooth fittings are used)Plastic cl.amps are used where tight clamping is not required
