Bilge System Breather Cleaning and Inspection
-Check that the small hole in the top of the breather is open by blowing in one end of the breather and plugging the otherIf the hole is plugged, clean it with compressed airDo not open it with pointed object (like needle or piece of wire), because the hole may be enlargedIf the hole is too large, the bilge system may not suck water out of the hull as well as it should
Bilge System Breather Removal
eThe bilge system breather is mounted on the bulkheadTake out the bolt with lock washer and flat washer
Bilge System Filter Removal
eThe bilge system filter is mounted in the bottom of the hull near the rear of the engine compartmentRemove the drive shaft holder mounting bolt holding the filter clamp
ePull the bilge system hoses off the breather,and remove it from the hull
