CHECKING AND LUBRICATING THE CABLES WARNING damaged cable sheath may cause corrosion and interfere with the cable movementAn unsafe condition may result so replace damaged cable as soon as possible1Check: cable sheath Damage Replace2Check: cable operation Unsmooth operation Lubricate or replaceRecommended lubricant Yamaha chain and cable lube or engine oil TIP: Hold the cable end up and apply several drops of lubricant to the cable3Apply: lithium-soap-based grease (onto end of the cable)
