CHECKING THE STEERING SYSTEM 1Place the vehicle on level surface2Check: steering assembly bearings Try to the steering wheel up and down, and back and forthExcessive play Replace the steering shaft assembly
3Check: tie-rod ends Turn the steering wheel to the left and right until it stops completely, and then move the steering wheel slightly in the opposite directionTie-rod end(s) have vertical play Replace the tie-rod end(s)
