POSITIONING THE FINAL DRIVE PINION GEAR AND RING GEAR When the final drive pinion gear, ring gear, final gear case andor ring gear bearing housing are replaced, be sure to adjust the positions of the final drive pinion gear and ring gear using the shim(s)
