TROUBLESHOOTING IF THE IGNITION SYSTEM FAILS TO OPERATE (NO SPARK OR INTERMITTENT SPARK): Procedure Check: 1.Spark plugs 2.lgnition spark gap 3.Spark plug cap resistance 4.1gnition coil resistance 5.Engine stop switch NOTE: _ Remove the following part(s) before troubleshooting: 1)Seat 2)Front carrier 3)Front fender Use the following special tool(s) for troubleshooting1.Spark plug Check the spark plug condition Check the spark plug type Check the spark plug gapRefer to "SPARK PLUG INSPECTION" in CHAPTER 3Spark plug gap: 0.8 0.9 mm (0.031 0.035 in) CORRECT for USACON 2.lgnition spark gap Disconnect the spark plug cap from the spark plug Connect the dynamic spark tester CD as shown
