7.Pickup coil resistance Disconnect the CDI magneto coupler from the wire harness Connect the pocket tester (Q 100) to the pickup coil terminalTester (+) lead -7 Red terminal D Tester (-) lead -7 White terminal
Check the pickup coil for the specified resistancePickup coil resistance: 459 561 Qat 20e (68F) (RedWhite)
OUT OF SPECIFICATION
IReplace the pickup coil
MEETS SPECIFICATION
8.Source coil resistance Disconnect the source coil coupler from the wire harness Connect the pocket tester (Q 100) to the source coil terminalTester (+) lead -7 Brown terminal D Tester (-) lead -7 Green terminal
