Gear motor installation steps 1) Apply lightweight lithium-soap base grease to the gear motor's a-ring2) Make sure the gear motor and shift fork sliding gear are in the 2WD positionIf their position is not correct, position them in the 2WD position3) While aligning the gear motor's stopper with the differential gear case's boss (), mesh the pinion gear (gear motor) and shift fork sliding gear together4) Push the gear motor into the differential gear case5) Rotate the gear motor counterclockwise approximately 37 and align it with the gear motor's mounting holeIn this way, the initial load is applied to the spring inside the gear motor6) Fasten the gear motor with the bolt(s)Bolt (gear motor): 13 Nm (1.3 kg, 9.4 ft Ib)
