Disconnect the CDI magneto leads (YellowIRed and Black)Connect the Pocket Tester (ax 1) to the lighting coil leads
Tester (+) Lead - YellowIRed Lead Tester (-1 Lead Black (J) Lead
Check the lighting coil for specificated resistance-
Lighting coil faulty, replace it
