BRAKE FLUID LEVEL INSPECTION FRONT BRAKE ADJUSTMENT NOTE: If DOT No.4 is not available, DOT No.3 can be used When inspecting the fluid level of the reservoir at the handlebars, make sure the master cylinder top is horizontally level
The fluid may erode painted surfaces or plastic partsAlways clean up spilled fluid immediately
AWARNING
Use only the designated quality fluid: otherwise, the rubber seals may deteriorate, causing leakage and poor brake performance Refill with the same type of fluid; mixing fluids may result in harmful chemical reaction and lead to poor performance Be careful that water does not enter the master cylinder when refillingWater will significantly lower the boiling point of the fluid and may result in vapor lock
