Manual Transmission: Apply small quantity of thread lock to the gearshift pawl lifter screws, and then tighten the specified torque: Thread lock cement 9900032110 (THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1322 or equivalent) Tightening torque Gearshift pawl lifter screw (c): Nm (0.9 kgf-m, 6.5 lb-ft) Install new snap ring (14) 5B-17
CAUTION
The removed snap ring (14) must be replaced with new oneSpecial tool0990006107 (Snap ring pliers)

When installing the gearshift shaft return spring, position the stopper "D" of gearshift arm between the shaft return spring ends "E"
