4C-4 Rear Brakes: Installation 1) Apply small quantity of thread lock to the brake caliper mounting bolts (1): Thread lock cement 9900032030 (THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1303 or equivalent) 2) Tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts (1) and slide pin (2)Tightening torque Brake caliper mounting bolt (a): 26 Nm (2.6 kgfm, 19.0 lb-ft) Rear brake caliper holder slide pin (b): 23 Nm2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 lb-ft) 4) Install the parking brakeRefer to "Parking Brake Removal and Installation in Section 4D (Page 4D2)"5) Bleed air from the brake systemRefer to "Air Bleeding from Brake Fluid Circuit in Section 4A (Page 4A-6)"6) Check the brake fluid leakage and brake operation WARNING
Brake fluid, if it leaks, will interfere with safe running and discolor painted surfacescheck the brake hose and hose joints for cracks and fluid leakage
