Front Brakes: 9) Tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts (2) to the specified torqueTightening torque Brake caliper mounting bolt (a): 26 Nm (2.6 kgfm, 19.0 lb-ft) 10) Tighten the front brake pad mounting pins (1) to the specified torqueTightening torque Front brake pad mounting pin (b): 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 lb-ft) NOTE After replacing the brake pads, pump the brake lever several times to check for proper brake operation and then check the brake fluid level4B-3
4) Remove the brake caliper by removing the brake caliper mounting bolts (2)2 3

Installation Install the brake caliper in the reverse order of removalPay attention to the following points: Apply small quantity of thread lock to the brake caliper mounting bolts (1): Thread lock cement 9900032030 (THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1303 or equivalent) Tighten the brake caliper mounting bolts (1) and brake pad mounting pins (2) to the specified torqueTightening torque Brake caliper mounting bolt (a): 26 Nm (2.6 kgfm, 19.0 lb-ft) Front brake pad mounting pin (b): 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 lb-ft) After setting the brake hose union to the stopper, tighten the union bolt (3) to the specified torque
