1K-4 Exhaust System: Install the new muffler connector (2)NOTE When installing new connector, remove the old sealer from the exhaust pipe and mufflerApply the exhaust gas sealer to both the inside and outside of the new connector: Muffler seal (MUFFLER SEAL LOCTITE 5920 (commercially available) or equivalent)
Exhaust System Inspection
Inspect the exhaust pipe connection and muffler connection for exhaust gas leakage and mounting conditionIf any defect are found, replace the exhaust pipe assembly or muffler with new oneCheck the exhaust pipe nuts (1), muffler connecting bolt (2) and muffler mounting bolts (3) are tightened to their specified torque
