1D-25 Engine Mechanical: After installing the cam chain tension adjuster, rotate the crankshaft (some turns), and recheck the positions of the camshaftsCylinder head cover Thoroughly wipe off oil from the fitting surfaces of the cylinder head and cover Apply bond to the end caps of the cylinder head cover gasket as shown in the figure: Sealant 9900031140 (SUZUKI BOND No.1207B or equivalent)! 1 2
CAUTION
Be sure to check and adjust the valve clearanceRefer to "Valve Clearance Inspection and Adjustment in Section 0B (Page 0B-5)" Apply engine oil to the new O-ring and install the generator cover plug (8)!
Use new gasket to prevent oil leakage
