Maintenance and Lubrication: 1) Clean the drive chain with kerosineIf the drive chain tends to rust quickly, the intervals must be shortened 0B-17
CAUTION
Do not use trichloroethylene, gasoline or any similar solventThese fluids have too great dissolving power for this chain and they can damage the O-ringsUse only kerosine to clean the drive chain2) After cleaning and drying the chain, oil it with heavyweight motor oil!
Brake pads check 1) Remove the front wheelRefer to "FrontRear Wheel Removal and Installation in Section 2D (Page 2D-2)"2) The extent of brake pad wear can be checked by observing the grooved limit line "A" on the side of brake padWhen the wear exceeds the grooved limit line, replace the pads with new onesRefer to "Front Brake Pad Replacement in Section 4B (Page 4B-2)" and "Rear Brake Pad Replacement in Section 4C (Page 4C-2)"!
