5C-7 Clutch: Measure the claw width of drive plates with vernier calipersReplace the drive plates found to have worn down to the limitSpecial tool (A): 0990020102 (Vernier calipers (120 mm, 200 mm)) Clutch drive plate claw width Service limit: 13.05 mm (0.514 in) Clutch Sleeve Hub and Primary Driven Gear Assembly Inspect the slot of the clutch sleeve hub and primary driven gear assembly for damage or wear caused by the clutch platesIf necessary, replace it with new one (A)

Measure each driven plate for distortion with thickness gauge and surface plateReplace driven plates which exceed the limitSpecial tool (B): 0990020803 (Thickness gauge) Clutch driven plate distortion Service limit: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
Clutch Shoe Inspect the boss and centrifugal weight fulcrum sections for looseness, damage and operationInspect the clutch shoe for damage and fouling with oil on the surfaceIf any defects are found, replace the clutch shoe assembly with new one
